BYLAWS OF

Pennsville Soccer Association, Inc.


 ARTICLE 1. NAMES & COLORS

1.1 The name of this organization shall be Pennsville Soccer Association, Inc. Within this document it shall also be referred to as “PSA.”

1.2 The colors of the club will be Blue and Gold.


ARTICLE 2. OBJECTIVES

2.1 The objective of the Pennsville Soccer Association, Inc. shall be to promote, foster, and perpetuate the game of soccer on all levels, to provide competition for all its members to play the game in accordance with the high standards of good sportsmanship and fair play, and to guard the interests of its members.

2.2 Pennsville Soccer Association, Inc. (PSA) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes; including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future tax code.


ARTICLE 3. GOVERNMENT & AFFILIATION

3.1 PSA shall be governed by the Executive Board, in accordance with the by-laws of the association, except only where these conflict with, and/or supplemented by its’ affiliated organizations

3.2 PSA shall be an affiliate of and shall comply with the constitution and by-laws of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, South Jersey Soccer League and/or South Jersey Girls Soccer League or equivalent leagues in the Mid-Atlantic States area as approved by the Board

3.3 League affiliation is to be determined by the membership of the association at the recommendation of the Board on an as needed basis


ARTICLE 4. MEETINGS

4.1 The annual general meeting of PSA shall be held during November for the purpose of:

a) Receiving the annual report from the outgoing board of directors.

b) Election of a new executive board.

c) Conduct of such business as may properly come before the meeting.

4.2 All Meetings will be conducting with the following agenda:

➢ Call to Order

➢ Reading and approval of previous minutes

➢ Treasurers Report

➢ Concession Report

➢ Adaptive League Report

➢ Director of Coaching Report

➢ Boys Representative Report

➢ Girls Representative Report

➢ Field & Equipment Report

➢ In-Town Coordinator Report

➢ Old/Unfinished & New Business

➢ Good of the Association

➢ Adjournment 1

4.3 Regular meetings other than the annual general meeting shall be held monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7pm or as deemed necessary by the Board. The secretary shall be responsible for notifying all adult members verbally, in writing, or by public notice of all general membership meetings.

4.4 Board Member Only meetings will occur the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the discretion of the board

4.5 Special Meetings may be called at the discretion of the Board. The Secretary shall be responsible for notification of all members in writing or verbally at least one (1) week prior to any special meetings or as time allows.

4.6 Each member and the Board shall be entitled to vote at any general membership meeting, except for the President who will only vote to break a tie. A simple majority vote of those present and eligible to vote will rule on all matters except amendments to the by-laws.

4.7 The by-laws may be amended in part or in whole by a two-thirds vote of the eligible voting members present at the meeting. Members must be notified of the proposed amendment at least two weeks before the vote. The proposed amendment must be read at a general membership meeting prior to the voting meeting.

4.8 Unless otherwise specified in the by-laws decisions shall be made by a majority vote present at each meeting.

4.9 A quorum is necessary to make any changes to the by laws.

4.10 A quorum is defined as having at least 2/3 of filled board positions present as well as at least 2 members of the executive board.

4.11 Meetings will be conducted in an organized manner, applying the general guidelines of Robert’s Rules of Order, Revised.


ARTICLE 5. EXECUTIVE BOARD

5.1 The Executive Board also referred to herein as the Board, will consist of the officers of the Club, namely President, Treasurer, Vice President, Secretary and In-Town Coordinator. As required by expansion/growth of the Club, additional Executive Board members (officers) may be activated (nominated by the President at the time required) or added to the next General election when conditions detailed in the individual officer job description exists, including but not limited to League Full Travel Representatives (one boys and one girls), Equipment and Field Manager, and Concession Stand Manager. The President will determine when additional Executive Board positions will become active (or inactive) in conjunction with the conditions described for each individual position.

5.2 There shall be ten (10) board members:

➢ President

➢ Vice President

➢ Secretary

➢ Treasurer

➢ Field & Maintenance

➢ Girls Representative

➢ Boys Representative

➢ Concession Stand Manager

➢ In-Town Coordinator

➢ Director of Coaching

➢ Adaptive League Coordinator

5.3 Election

5.3.1 Nominations for the Executive Board will be made in the October meeting

5.3.2 The Board shall be elected at the November annual general meeting. 

5.3.3 Board Member Transition will occur during the December annual general meeting where both new and old board members shall be present.

5.3.4 A nominee for the Executive Board must be a member in good standing in accordance with ARTICLE 8 – MEMBERSHIP.

5.3.5 If, after the elections are held, there are open positions on the Board, a general member may announce their intent to fill said position during a general meeting. He/She shall be appointed by the President with the approval of a simple majority of the Executive Board. The appointee, if approved, shall serve the unexpired term of his/her predecessor. In the event that a position is vacant, the president has the authority to re-assign the tasks of the vacant position to other members until said position is filled.

5.4 Term of office of each officer shall be for one year and may be re-elected.

5.5 Duties and Powers

5.5.1 The Board shall have the power to appoint such standing committees, as it shall determine necessary.

5.5.2 The Board shall delegate investigative responsibility, with all findings and conclusions to be reported at a board meeting for final action.

5.5.3 The Board may adopt such rules and regulations for the management of the association and conduct its meetings as necessary for efficient operations, providing they do not conflict with the by-laws of the Association.

5.5.4 The Board has the responsibility of approving and appointing coaches to specific teams.

5.5.5 The Board has the power to set and enforce guidelines governing the conduct of adults, coaches, members and players. These guidelines will be consistent with the goals of Article 2 and may be amended by a majority vote of the Board as needed.

5.5.6 The outgoing Board shall, at the general meeting in December, provide a summary of the year’s operation including a complete financial statement covering all monies and properties. The summary shall be sufficiently comprehensive as to be meaningful to the general membership.

5.5.7 At the Executive Board meetings each board member shall have one (1) vote, except the president, who shall only vote in the case of a tie.

5.5.8 All Board members are expected to attend the monthly meeting either in person or electronically

5.5.9 If a Board member cannot attend the monthly meeting without just cause more than 3 times during their 12 month elected period, they forfeit their position immediately at the call to attendance at the 3rd missed meeting and may be immediately replaced at that meeting.

5.5.9.1 Just cause is defined as serious excuse such as illness or injury, work travel and family vacations. All other absences must be approved by the board in advance.

5.5.9.2 All Board members who cannot attend a meeting are expected to notify the other members at least 1 day in advance.

5.5.9.3 Canceled meetings are not counted against Board members.


ARTICLE 6. DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS

6.1 President

6.1.1 The President shall be responsible for conducting the affairs of the association and executing all policies established by the association.

6.1.2 The President or the President’s alternate shall preside and run the association meetings.

6.1.3 The President or the President’s alternate shall present the association’s summary report at the annual general meeting.

6.1.4 The President shall be a member of all committees

6.1.5 The President shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.2 Vice President

6.2.1 In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall assume the duties and responsibilities of the President.

6.2.2 The Vice President shall be responsible for all Association fund-raising activities.

6.2.3 The Vice President shall be responsible for order uniforms each season as needed.


6.2.4 The Vice president shall schedule photographers for Spring and Fall pictures 6.2.5 The Vice President may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.2.6 The Vice President shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.3 Secretary

6.3.1 The Secretary shall be responsible for seeing that minutes are kept of all association meetings and dispatching all association correspondence.

6.3.2 The Secretary shall be responsible for notifying all members verbally, in writing, or by public notice of all meetings.

6.3.3 The Secretary shall be responsible for sending emails and updating all of the clubs’ social media platforms.

6.3.4 The Secretary is responsible for setting an agenda in advance for each meeting.

6.3.5 The Secretary may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.3.6 The Secretary shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.4 Treasurer

6.4.1 The Treasurer shall be responsible for all association monies and securities.

6.4.2 The Treasurer shall keep records of all receipts and disbursements and report them at the general membership meetings.

6.4.3 The Treasurer shall make a complete financial report at the annual general meeting.

6.4.4 The Treasurer may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.4.5 The Treasurer shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.5 Field & Equipment Manager

6.5.1 The Field and Equipment Manager shall be responsible for all PSA property and maintenance of all playing fields.

6.5.2 The Field and Equipment Manager shall be responsible for all association equipment

6.5.3 The Field and Equipment Manager may attend meetings of the Pennsville Recreation Department monthly or as they are held.

6.5.4 The Field and Equipment Manager is responsible for field maintenance including but not limited to the sprinkler system and managing the grass and lines on the fields.

6.5.5 The Field and Equipment Manager shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.5.6 The Field and Equipment Manager may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.6 Club/League Representatives

6.6.1 The Club/League Representatives shall attend all general meetings of our affiliated leagues as the representative of the opinions and desires of PSA

6.6.2 The Club/League Representatives will communicate all information from the affiliated leagues to PSA.

6.6.3 The Club/League Representatives shall act as representatives for the best interest of the players.

6.6.4 The Club/League Representatives shall represent each team as designated by the President.

6.6.5 The Boys Club/League Representatives will approve playing on the field due to field and or weather conditions every Sunday morning during the playing season (both fall and spring). This decision must be made by 8am on the playing day.

6.6.6 The Girls Club/League Representatives will approve playing on the field due to field and or weather conditions every Saturday morning during the playing season (both fall and spring). This decision must be made by 8am on the playing day.

6.6.7 The Club/League Representatives shall represent the club during all meetings with the SJSL and SJGSL and report all information back to the club at the next board meeting.

6.6.8 The Club/League Representatives shall register all players in GotSport or under the appropriate agency at least 1 month before the beginning of the season. The Club/League Representatives shall collect all travel schedules and post them onto the club’s website in the designated section within one week of the schedules being released.

6.6.9 The Club/League Representatives may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.6.10 The Club/League Representatives shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.7 Concession Stand Manager

6.7.1 The Concession Stand Manager will be responsible for the operation, stocking, and cleaning of the concession stand. 

6.7.2 The Concession Stand Manager will be responsible for delivering the cash receipts to the treasurer in a timely fashion.

6.7.3 The Concession Stand Manager may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.7.4 The Concession Stand Manager shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.7.5 The duties of this position will be split between the intown coordinator and vice president if the position is unfilled.

6.8 In-Town Coordinator (In-Town Programs)

6.8.1 The In-Town Coordinator will be responsible for the operation of all in-town recreation programs for PSA.

6.8.2 The In-Town Coordinator will be responsible for assignment of Teams, Coaches, Game Schedules and Uniforms for the Recreation Program.

6.8.3 The In-Town Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, and assisting the Recreation League coaches.

6.8.4 The In-Town Coordinator shall conduct meeting(s) with all Recreation League coaches as may be necessary.

6.8.5 The In-Town Coordinator may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.8.6 The In-Town Coordinator shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.9 Director of Coaching

6.9.1 This board member is referred to as DC henceforth in this document

6.9.2 The DC shall assist with all travel and in-town coached curriculum as needed

6.9.3 Shall be responsible for reporting coaching issues to the board

6.9.4 The DC shall be a resource and the first point of contact for any coach with a question about soccer.

6.9.5 The DC oversees and managers all independent trainers hired by PSA

6.9.6 The DC must be notified of all independent trainers hired by any individual team within PSA

6.9.7 The DC is responsible for assisting in setting up all coach training and licensing courses.

6.9.7.1 New coach licensing courses shall be organized through the appropriate agencies

6.9.8 The DC oversees and is responsible for the part of PSA’s webpage where coaching resources are located.

6.9.9 The DC is meant to support coaches and give them the necessary tools to be effective coaches.

6.9.10 The DC may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.9.11 The DC shall attend all monthly meetings.

6.10 Adaptive League Coordinator

6.10.1 The Adaptive League Coordinator will be responsible for the operation of all adaptive programs for PSA

6.10.2 The Adaptive League Coordinator will be responsible for assignment of Buddies, Activities, Scheduling and Uniforms for the Adaptive Program

6.10.3 The Adaptive Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, instructing, and assisting Buddies.

6.10.4 The Adaptive League Coordinator may also perform any other duties the President requires.

6.10.5 The Adaptive League Coordinator shall attend all monthly meetings.


ARTICLE 7. COACHES

7.1 Coaches must abide by all rules of PSA, the affiliate Leagues, and Governing State and National associations.

7.1.1 Coaches must comply with certification requirements set by PSA and the governing bylaws of the affiliated organizations.

7.1.2 The Board will review and approve/deny the requests. Considerations will be given to:

➢ the experience of the coach with soccer

➢ the experience of the coach with the requested team

➢ the experience of the coach within PSA

➢ certifications and recommendations

➢ these considerations do not automatically determine the selection.

7.2 A secret ballot will be taken if more than one person qualifies for and wishes to be a Head Coach of the same team and will be approved by a majority vote.

7.2.1 Ballot will be arranged and counted by the Secretary and verified by the Vice President

7.3 The Head Coach may select up to three (3) Assistant Coaches who must be approved by the Board prior to working with a team.

7.3.1 The Head and Assistant Coaches will be responsible for conducting practices, distribution and collection of equipment and all other PSA property assigned to his/her teams as well as all other duties associated with coaching the team including field setup and breakdown.

7.4 All Boys Travel Coaches must have a NJYSA “F” License or higher, State Certificate or complete the US Soccer Grassroots Courses.

7.5 All Girls Travel Coaches must have a NJYSA “D” License or higher or complete SJGSL Level 1 or higher coaching certificate.

7.6 Coaches must comply the minimum requirements of the NJ Youth Soccer Association and adhere to the bylaws set forth by PSA.

7.7 Any person who is under suspension by any affiliated organization or another Pennsville Township authorized activity is not eligible to serve as a coach with any team in PSA until their suspension and any fines are cleared. Once the person is reinstated the can return to good standing with the organization in question and has received Board approval he/she can serve as PSA coach.

7.8 All coaches, Board members and any other person who has direct contact with children must complete and have on file a “Safe Sport” certification. Without a signed form the person is not allowed on the field in either practice or games.

7.9 All coaches, Board members and any other person who has direct contact with children must pass a background check as paid for by PSA.

7.10 All coaches and assistant coaches must complete SafeSport certification and basic first aid / CPR training.

7.11 All head/assistant coaches must attend all Mandatory Coaches Meetings. Failure to do so will result in fines and/or loss of coaching privileges and/or loss of playing privileges on the game fields as determined by the Board.

7.12 All coaches must communicate through the Club/League Representatives and not directly to SJSL and SJGSL or the current league affiliation.

7.13 In the event that a Club League Representative is not active for a specific League, the head coaches playing in that league will be responsible to attend (or have a team parent attend) required league meetings. Failure to attend required League meetings may result in revocation of coaching status or fines as determined by the Board.


ARTICLE 8. MEMBERSHIP

8.1 All members in good standing shall have the right when present to vote

8.1.1 Good Standing is defined as follows:

➢ Having a child play in the current seasonal year

➢ A current volunteer coach

➢ Must attend at least 3 meetings

8.2 All eligible members can vote in the elections of officers to the board of directors of the club and for by laws.

8.3 Any board member directly involved with a coaching position being selected, or personal or monetary gain regarding the vote, shall abstain from voting.

8.4 Voting shall be carried out by secret ballot vote.

8.4.1 Ballots shall be printed after the nominations are made and available at the November meeting for a general election ballot when more than one candidate is nominated for any position.

8.4.2 Ballots for all positions shall be counted by the Secretary and verified by the Vice President.


ARTICLE 9. DUES & FEES

9.1 PSA does not charge general assembly dues for general membership.

9.2 Players will be required to pay fees as determined by the Board. Registration fees are determined by the board on an annual basis. These fees are based on operating expenses of the previous year + known changes in associated league fees as well an annual upkeep and maintenance fees and planed facility upgrades to keep the grounds in playing condition.

9.3 Any fines assigned to PSA by affiliated organizations for misconduct, inappropriate behavior or other violations by any coach, player, trainer, or spectator associated with PSA will be reviewed by the Board and may be requested to be reimbursed by the individual or players parent to PSA. If reimbursement is requested by the Board and not received in a timely fashion as deemed reasonable by the Board, the individual or player will lose all privileges within PSA until the reimbursement is received.

9.4 Properly licensed travel and in town coaches as well as assistant coaches are exempt from the cost of one player registration during the season for which they are coaching.

9.4.1 Each coach and assistant coach must be approved by the board each season for this exemption.

9.5 Board Members are exempt from the cost of registration for their player(s)

9.6 Properly licensed travel coaches and assistant coaches are exempt from the burden of snack stand participation for their player(s) during the season for which they are coaching.

9.6.1 Each coach and assistant coach must be approved by the board each season for this exemption.


ARTICLE 10. REGISTRATION

10.1 The board will set registration dates.

10.2 The board is responsible for setting dates by which all applicants must properly register in order to be eligible to play on or try out for a traveling team.

10.3 The head coach will be required to accept players up to the maximum roster size for that age group.

10.4 Any player who registers after the final registration date set by the Board and wishes to play for a travel team will be placed on a waiting list. As openings occur for a team, players from that waiting list will be considered by the Head Coach, the Club/League Representative and the Board. Players on the waiting list are considered in the order of signup.


ARTICLE 11. PLAYERS

11.1 Any resident of Pennsville Township who otherwise qualifies (i.e., meets age requirement and any other requirement as established by the Board), may register to play for a PSA team and is eligible to participate.

11.2 Anyone not a resident of Pennsville Township who otherwise qualifies may register to play for a PSA team.

11.3 Coaches will not permit any player to act in a manner resulting in poor sportsmanship of any kind.

11.4 Any problems and or injuries must be brought to the attention of the appropriate Club/League Representative who will notify the Board if necessary.

11.4.1 An injury/Incident form shall be filled out by a parent or coach within 24 hours of the incident and must be submitted to the club rep or Director of Coaching via email or by hand.

11.4.2 After receipt of injury/Incident form, if deemed necessary, the Club Rep or Director of Coaching must upon receipt immediately email it to the entirety of the sitting board.

11.5 If needed, the board will select a time to meet to discuss the Injury /incident. Where possible, the board will discuss it at the next scheduled monthly meeting.

11.6 Players are expected to attend a minimum number of practices per week as determined by the coach to be eligible to play in weekly games.

11.7 Players are expected to follow all rules of the game at all times and behave in accordance with the PSA code of conduct at all times.

11.8 Team Types

 11.8.1 U8 & under – These teams are considered developmental. Play time shall be equal amongst all players to the best of the coaches ability as long as players have met all minimum requirements of play as stated in section 11.8.4

11.8.2 U9 & above – These teams are considered fully competitive. Play time is earned at this level and determined through the criteria listed under section 11.8.3

11.8.3 Play time U11 & above 11.8.3.1 Playtime is determined through the following criteria:

➢ Attendance at team practices

➢ Attendance for trainer practices paid for by PSA

➢ Effort at practices & games

➢ Skill demonstrated at practices & games

➢ Players attitude & sportsmanship, at all times, on and off the field

➢ Parents attitude & behavior at games and/or practices

➢ Parents and players are expected to behave according to the PSA Code of Conduct

11.8.4 Play Time U8 & below

11.8.4.1 Play time shall be equal amongst all players on a given team as long as the following minimums are met:

➢ Players attend all team practices

➢ Attitude is positive

➢ Effort is exhibited at practice & games

➢ Parents and players behave according to the PSA Code of Conduct

➢ A player will not be forced onto the field to meet minimum play time if that player refused.


ARTICLE 12. ROSTER & TRY-OUTS

12.1 All travel teams are open to tryouts and no player who played on the team the previous seasonal year is guaranteed a roster spot. The seasonal year will be July 1 through June 30th.

12.2 There will be a tryout when more than (18) players for 11v11 format; (16) players for an 9v9 format (14) players for a 7v7 format register and desire to play for a particular travel team. A minimum of (2) to a maximum of (3) tryout dates will be set by the Board.

12.3 After the final tryout date, the team roster selections will be decided by the team coaching staff. The Head Coach will not have to carry more than the (18) players for an 11v11team or (16) players for an 9v9 team or (14) players for a 7v7 team. Positions past 15 or 12 or 10 respectively do not need to be filled. These remaining open spots are at the discretion of the Head Coach, Club/League Representative and the Board as to whether they are to be filled.

12.4 Any player not selected to a travel team will be contacted verbally by the head coach within one week of the last tryout date set by PSA and offered a chance to participate in another age-appropriate team if one is available.

12.5 If roster openings still exist, or if a Head Coach wants to add to their roster, then the Board and the Head Coach may elect to hold additional tryouts to fill vacancies. All roster spots filled will be at the discretion of the Head Coach and authorized and approved by the Board. Pennsville residents, if equal in skills and willing to participate for entire seasonal year will be given first priority for roster spots.

12.6 PSA will roster the following travel teams during the fall and spring season:

12.6.1 Boys Travel

➢ U9

➢ U11

➢ U13

➢ U15

12.6.2 Girls Travel

➢ U9

➢ U11

➢ U13

➢ U15

12.6.3 If numbers allow, additional teams will be formed in age-appropriate groups (ie. U10/U12/U14). Final decisions on age brackets and makeup are decided by the board.

12.6.4 Any teams may be co-ed depending on the number of registered players that season.

12.6.4.1 Co-ed teams play for SJSL

12.6.4.2 As per SJSL, girls may play on boys teams if desired and numbers allow.

12.6.4.3 As per SJGSL, boys may never play on girls teams

12.6.5 Players may play up an age bracket with special permission from the board only.

12.6.5.1 Players can only play up 2 year due to safety reasons.

12.6.6 Players may never play down an age bracket due to both SJSL & SJGSL rules.


ARTICLE 13. FINANCIAL POLICY

13.1 General Policy

13.1.1 The Board shall be responsible for all matters pertaining to the business of the association, including all votes on monetary matters.

13.1.2 The Board shall be responsible for keeping the association in sound financial condition.

13.2 Treasury

13.2.1 All association monies shall be maintained in common treasury. This shall include all dues, fees, sponsorships, contributions, sales, and monies for the fundraising activities.All disbursements greater than $$250 must be approved by the Executive Board, endorsed by the Treasurer and the President or Vice President Any accounts for Pennsville Soccer Association, Inc. must have three (3) names on the signature card on file at the bank. These must include the President, Treasurer and Vice President.

13.2.2 The common treasury provision shall not apply where fund-raising programs are governed by the laws of a higher Local, State or Federal authority.

13.2.3 The Board has the power to call for the opening of an account to cover a specific need.

13.2.4 No part of the net earnings of the organization shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the organization shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth in the purpose clause hereof. No substantial part of the activities of the organization shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the organization shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. Notwithstanding any other provision of this document, the organization shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on (a) by an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or (b) by an organization, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. 10

13.2.5 Should this organization ever dissolve, all remaining assets, after all Contracts and Bills have been paid, will be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or shall be distributed to a state or local government for a public purpose. Any such assets not disposed of shall be disposed of by the Court of Common Pleas of Salem County, New Jersey, exclusively for such purposes or to such organization or organizations, as said Court shall determine, which are organized and operated exclusively for such purposes.


ARTICLE 14. TROPHIES & AWARDS

14.1 It is the purpose of PSA to use the funds collected through registration, fundraisers, or other means to be used for the maximum benefit of all the participants in the program.

14.2 It is the position of the association that if a travel team wins their division/flight they may have up to $50 per player towards a jacket, trophy or similar award with the approval of the board.


ARTICLE 15. REFUND & REGISTRATION COSTS: IN-TOWN & TRAVEL

15.1 Upon written request, refunds of registration costs shall be refunded in full (100%) if PSA is contacted within 7 days of registration, minus any service fee charged by the website. Less any Service Fee.

15.2 Refunds of registration costs shall be refunded by 100% within 60 days if no teams have been registered to the leagues and no league fees paid.

15.2.1 Refund shall be refunded at board discretion

15.3 No refunds shall be granted of any amount after uniforms or equipment are ordered for the pertaining season or more than 60 days from registration.

15.4 The board may vote at the monthly meeting to waive any of the above provisions and refund in full if the board finds just cause.

ARTICLE 16. DISIPLINE

16.1 Both players and parents are required to follow the PSA Code of Conduct

16.2 Both players and parents are subject to disciplinary action if found in violation of the PSA Code of Conduct.

16.3 Disciplinary action shall be in accordance with but not limited to SJSL’s Table of Penalties for Unacceptable Conduct. See section 7007 page 23 of 28 of SJSL’s Rules and Regulations.

16.3.1 All disciplinary action shall be overseen by the Board at the next monthly meeting.

16.3.2 All parties will have an opportunity to present their cases and testimony in a public forum.
